Fresh Green chilly (G4 Variety)
Green chili, a staple in many cuisines worldwide, is the unripe fruit of the chili pepper plant. We grow G4 variety of green chilly under shade net facility in Nasik and then shift the saplings to our own open farms for further propagation and harvesting. We have immense capacity to export fresh green chillies and have farming facilities 500KM in and around our pack house in Nasik. We not only grow chillies in our farms but also teach other farmers to grow this crop and supply to us under buy back options. We ensure a fair market price is given to our farmer support base apart from the technical know-how and education camps that we often undertake. Our team of field experts and agronomists provide full support at farm level and educate the farmers on routine fertigation and care. We ensure that utmost care is taken while harvesting and transportation of the tender chillies until our packhouse so that the shelf life of the products can remain intact. Proper pre-cooling is done after sorting and grading of the harvest so as to bring down the body temperature of the crop.
Green chili comes from various species of the Capsicum genus, such as Capsicum annuum. The plant produces elongated or round pods that ripen from green to red, yellow, or other colours. The appearance of green chili pods is characterized by a vivid green colour. They are typically slender, elongated, and may have a curved or straight shape, depending on the variety. Green chilies offer a distinct, pungent flavour with a combination of heat and a hint of sweetness. The flavour can vary depending on the specific chili variety, ranging from mildly spicy to intensely hot
